Massage Therapy:
Self-care is one of the most important aspects of wellness. The Thomas E Hannah YMCA offers $25 massages to all members. Please sign up at the member service desk one day in advance and shower off before a massage. Massages will be offered in 45 minute intervals throughout the week. Our licensed massage therapist is Michelle Mabry. Michelle is certified in massage techniques including Deep Tissue, Pregnancy, Swedish, Hot Stone, Sports, and Clinical Range-of-Motion.
Times available: M/W/F - 9am-4pm T/TH 1pm-6:30pm
Class Offerings:
We offer dozens of classes offered each week at the Middle Tyger and Thomas E. Hannah YMCA branches. Check the group fitness schedules for additional offerings and class availability.
Step:
Step to the beat with this mixed-impact class where the choreography is as fun as it is easy to learn.
Cardio Kick:
Put your best foot forward with a mixture of kick and punch combinations peppered with jump ropes, drill and abs work.
Indoor Cycling:
Put a new spin on your cardio workout by enjoying a heart-pumping simulated ride sure to challenge both beginners and avid cyclists.
Yoga:
Practice basic yoga postures and relaxation techniques while improving your flexibility balance and strength.
Pilates & PiYo
A mat-based class designed to stretch and strengthen your core muscles while incorporating breath-work.
Zumba:
Come see why this high-intensity Latin-based cardio dance class is all the rage.
Body Sculpt:
A class designed to increase strength and definition in your muscles.
Line Dance:
A fun dance-based cardio workout that involves the Electric Slide, the Wobble, and everything in between! High and low impact versions are both offered as well as country and non-country, songs so there is something for everyone!
Personal Training:
Are you ready to take your fitness to the next level? At the YMCA, our certified personal trainers are here to do just that! Whether your goal is to lose a few pounds or to train for a marathon, our trainers will design a one-on-one workout program just for you.
