Annual Partners with Youth Campaign

Each year, the YMCA of Greater Spartanburg gives away hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships and subsidized memberships and program fees to needy families and children in our community. Your donations allow kids to learn to swim, to receive high quality after school care and academic enrichment, to participate in youth sports leagues, and to interact with caring adults in a supportive, Christian environment. New Spartanburg Family YMCA Building

Since 2008, hundreds of individuals and organizations in our community and beyond have donated over $5 million to create a new YMCA building for future generations. The new Spartanburg Family YMCA will truly be at the heart of our community. Situated behind the existing building, the new Y is visible from the Rail Trail and on our WebCam. While we have made amazing progress toward our goal of opening in March of 2012, we still need your help. A generous donor has agreed to match, dollar for dollar, every new donation we receive before the end of 2011, double the impact of your generosity.
