34th Annual Hair of the Dog Run & Breakfast

*NEW IN 2016* -USATF certified and timed 5 mile & 10 mile races

Start the New Year off right with the 34th Annual Hair of the Dog Run and Breakfast. This run, with its long standing tradition, promises to be a fun event for children and adults of all ages. After the run there will be a chance for you to celebrate the beginning of 2016 with fellow runners while enjoying breakfast and warm drinks.

The 34th Annual Hair of the Dog New Year's Day run is set to take place this year on January 1st, 2016. This event promises to be a fun race for everyone involved! Last year, we made an effort to improve the event with course markings, a finish line, and the opportunity to run with your favorite canine companion. This year, we are taking it one step further and making this a fun, family event with a competitive twist.

New Year's Day is a time for celebration and a time to set new goals for 2016. Why not try and hit a few of those goals on the first day with a new personal best time in the 5-mile or 10-mile event. For the first time in the history of the Hair of the Dog, the 5-mile and 10-mile course will be USATF certified and a timed event by Go Green Events. If you are interested in a less competitive, fun option - you will still be able to run or walk the 2-mile run.

No matter what distance or pace you plan to run, we hope that you will join us for this New Year's Day celebration!
