Pine Street YMCA - Programs
On the surface, the YMCA may seem to be a place to go, a facility, a building, but it is much more than that. Through YMCA programs we become more than a place to go, we are a place to grow. At the Y, there's something for every age, shape and ability. As with all YMCA programs, financial assistance is available.

Aquatic Fitness Classes
Water fitness consists of a variety of water exercises to meet the needs of all ages and fitness levels. Water exercise is easy to learn, safe, and low-impact to minimize muscle soreness. The natural buoyancy of water supports joints and creates a resistant environment to work muscles. A great way to get in shape! Classes run on a continuous basis, so feel free to drop in any time!
* Please see the attached Water Fitness schedule at the bottom of this page.
Swim Lessons
Our goal at the YMCA is not only to teach your child how to swim, but to develop them as a person: spirit, mind, and body. All lessons will include water sports, games, and personal growth. Honesty, Caring, Responsibility, and Respect are the four character development values that are incorporated into all YMCA programs and form the base on which our Swim Lessons are presented. We look forward to seeing you in the pool!
We teach everyone from 6 months through adults. We also offer the option for private lessons or special day times for Home Schooled children. We definitely have something for everyone!
*Please see the attached Swim Lesson schedules at the bottom of this page.
