Membership Rates

A YMCA of Greater Spartanburg membership provides you with unlimited use of the Middle Tyger and Pine Street YMCA.  You can visit as often as you like, take classes, use the facilities and equipment for one monthly fee.  You'll receive reduced fees on specialty classes and programs.  There are no contracts to sign.  Membership rates include a one-time joining fee.

* HOUSEHOLD: Household is considered one or two adults in the same household as their dependants.  Additional adults can be added on the membership, provided they reside in the same household, for $25 each per month.  Proof of residency and dependency is required.  Limit 4 adults per Household Membership. 

(Residency and Dependency: Proof of residency is verified through a driver's license, current household bill, or other legal document.  A dependent can be someone that is tax dependent, a dependent child through marriage, or where the adult member is the child's legal guardian.)
 

*Upstate Facility Memberships are also available for $70 a month for adults and $85 a month for families. ($100 joining fee for adults and $100 joining fee for families also applies.)  This membership includes facility usage at the following YMCA's: Anderson, Cherokee, Greenville, Spartanburg, Laurens, Greenwood, and Union Counties.

The YMCA never turns anyone away due to the inability to pay!  We offer scholarship assistance to those who need it. Please download the Gateway Scholarship Application below for more details.


** STUDENT: A student is defined as a child up to the age of 18 years old or up to age 25 if a full-time student.

YMCA Military Outreach Initiative

 The Armed Services YMCA and Department of Defense Outreach Initiative offers YMCA memberships to eligible military families and personnel who may not have access to a nearby military facility. Eligible military families and personnel include:

• Family members of deployed National Guard and Reservists
• Active Duty Independent Duty personnel and their families as approved by their Military Service Headquarters
• Relocated spouses and family members of deployed Active Duty personnel
  
  Note: Eligibility is for Title 10 personnel only.
