YMCA OF GREATER SPARTANBURG SPECIAL EVENTS
At the YMCA of Greater Spartanburg we offer numerous special events for our members and community. We host BBQs and have annual functions like our Partners with Youth Campaign Kick-Off, Healthy Kids Day, YMCA Activate America Program, YMCA Fall Festival, annual races such as "The Hair of the Dog", "The Main Squeeze", "The Sprint Triathlon", kids triathlon, and our annual community prayer breakfast.

The Run the Falls 8K is approximately 4.9 miles. It will begin beside the Middle Tyger YMCA ands remain on Shoals Roas; cross over 290 at the red light take the first left into River Falls then go to the turn around sign then back to the Middle Tyger YMCA. The run takes place on November 20, 2010 at 8:00 am. Those who register before November 12 are guaranteed a t-shirt.
