After School Care
We are not a typical after-school program. We offer a safe place for all students to hang out while nurturing their potential, improving academic engagements and achievements, and building confidence and character while supporting and developing a healthy spirit, mind, and body.

Weekly After School Care
The YMCA of Greater Spartanburg recognizes the growing physical, intellectual, and social competence of the increasingly independent school-age child. Eager to achieve socially and academically while expanding their knowledge of the world, 5- to 12 year old seek new challenges, close friendships, and increasing responsibilities.
Our programs offer enriching learning opportunities in a fun environment for maturing school-age children. This includes after-school care, Schools Out Special, and/or care for school holidays and closings for children up to age 12.
For those times that are just a bit hectic and you need an extra set of hands. We offer registration for weekly care.
Weekly care includes:
- Playtime
- Snack Time
- Homework Time
- Tutoring (first come first served basis)
- Friday Swim (3 pm-4 pm)*
- Reading / Downtime
- Indoor/outdoor play
- Special activities and/or field trips on Spring break/Winter break
Member rate $70 per week
Non-member rate is $120 per week
