We are not a typical after school program. We offer a safe place for all students to hang out while nurturing their potential, improving academic engagements and achievements, and building confidence and character while supporting and developing a healthy spirit, mind, and body.

The YMCA of Greater Spartanburg recognizes the growing physical, intellectual, and social competence of the increasingly independent school-age child. Eager to achieve socially and academically while expanding their knowledge of the world, youth seek new challenges, close friendships, and increasing responsibilities.

Our programs offer enriching learning opportunities in a fun environment for maturing school-age children.  Does Not Include – Teacher Workdays or School Holidays
