Our basketball camp will focus on the fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense. As well as, skill development, attitude, effort, and having the team mindset.

This year’s camp directors are Polk County Middle School coaches: Michelle Fagan(women’s basketball), and Brad Muse(men’s basketball).

Coach Fagan graduated from Queens University in Charlotte, NC where she was a member of the Women’s Basketball Team. She then served as an assistant for the Women’s Basketball Team at Furman in Greenville, SC. During her time at Polk County she has served as the JV Girls head coach at the high school, an assistant coach for the varsity team, and currently is the middle school Women’s Basketball head coach.

Coach Muse has coached basketball in different capacities over the past 18 years. He has been the head coach for the East Asheville and Polk County Recreation Basketball League as well as assisted at Polk County Middle and High School. Coach Muse is currently Polk County Middle School head Men’s Basketball Coach. Coach Muse basketball philosophy is to teach players the importance of basic fundamentals and playing with confidence.
