AOA Cardio - A non-impact class with alternating intervals designed to increase cardiovascular and muscular endurance.  Upper body strength work with handheld weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball is alternated to enhance your daily life.  A chair is offered for support, stretching and relaxation exercises.  Open to all members.

 

AOA Strength - Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, agility, balance and coordination to improve participants functional capacities, physical fitness level and sense of well being.  A chair is used for seated and/or standing support. Open to all members.

 

Body Sculpt - Is a non-aerobic, muscle-toning class, usually focused on core strength. Most sculpting classes use weight bars, exercise bands, dumbbells or a combination of these gadgets. 

 

Bootcamp - Intense Cross Training class that will challenge your body to its limit, increase fat loss while improving cardiovascular and muscular conditioning.  All fitness levels are welcomed.

 

Cardio Kick - Incorporates techniques form boxing and kickboxing into a high intensity, fun and effective aerobic workout.

 

Cardio Pump - A strength and conditioning class that incorporates the step, dumbbells and core work. 

 

Barre - one hour full body workout that fuses the best elements of ballet, pilates, sports conditioning and stretching for a truly unique and fun experience. The moves are low impact but high intensity intervals of strength training followed immediately by deep recovery stretching. This regimented routine will evenly sculpt and quickly transform the entire body, resulting in a toned, trim physique.

 

B&G (Butt & Gut) - The name says it all!  Intense abdominal and booty workout!

 

Insanity - High intensity interval training class with athletic drills and modifications for all fitness levels. This body and life changing program is now offered in a live class to help you achieve your fitness goals.

 

PiYo - Get sexy, flexy, and strong! Yoga rebels wanted! If you want to get strong but donít want to sit still, this rhythmic, dynamic, total-body workout is for you! With a constant flow of moves set to upbeat and empowering music, youíll burn some serious calories while you build stability, strength, and flexibility.

 

RIPPED - Resistance, Intervals, Power, Plyometrics and Endurance (and Diet).  Itís a "Plateau Proof Fitness Formula" that helps you to create continuity, consistency and challenge in each and every class. It is Plateau Proof, because each component of the workout provides a uniquely different emphasis or system response, so your body never gets accustomed to the constantly changing format.

 

Tai Chi - Can perhaps best be thought of as a moving form of yoga and meditation combined. There are a number of so- called forms which consist of a sequence of movements. Many of these movements are originally derived from the martial arts (and perhaps even more ancestrally than that, from the natural movements of animals and birds) although the way they are performed in Tai Chi is slowly, softly and gracefully with smooth and even transitions between them. Open to all members

 

Yoga -  Intense but relaxing class that will increase your flexibility and strength. Characterized by a flowing series of poses, practiced in a continuous succession.

 

Yoga (Gentle) -  Yoga classes for those individuals who enjoy this practice but prefer not to get down on the floor; chair may be used for seated or standing support.  Incorporated meditative breathing exercises to calm the mind, increases balance and flexibility, strengthens peripheral vision and counters the effect of arthritis and aging. 

 

Yoga (Power) - Is the western version of Ashanga yoga which emphasizes developing oneís physical flexibility and nurtures the desire for self-discipline. It will enhance sports performance, improve posture and muscle definition, promote a sense of well-being, relieve stress and anxiety.

 

Zumba - Ditch the workoutÖ Join the party! Easy but exciting Latin dance moves and motivating rhythms allow you to dance while burning lots of calories! Itís HOT, HOT, HOT! This is great family exercise.

 

Zumba Gold - For active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba class that recreates the original moves at a lower-intensity.   The class includes designed choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination.  Come ready to sweat and prepare to leave empowered and feeling strong.
