From Now-January 31st, the YMCA of Greater Spartanburg will Waive the $100 Joining Fee for new Membership Applications! That means that in addition to receiving a Contract-Free Membership for Two YMCAs, you can save up to $100!

Y Impact: This is Why
On the way back from Austin, TX, one of our swim team members was feeling overwhelmed by upcoming school exams. She was completely stressed and in tears. Other teammates tried to calm her down, but she remained very upset. One of our swimmers though, took her aside and spent our entire layover helping her study for exams. By the time we boarded, she was relaxed and calm. Most of the time, swim team focuses on helping each other in the pool, but our swimmers learn to help each other outside the pool as well.
